The Freemen Jazz Band was founded in 2002 by experienced freelance jazz musicians. They play the hits of the twenties and thirties composed by such greats as Louis Armstrong, "Fats" Waller, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington. Their instrumentation is quite unique and is closer to the set up of the recreated era as of the usual Dixieland line-up today: they have no trombone but use guitar besides the banjo, and instead of a string bass a humping tuba provides the bottom of the sound. Their line-up guarantees good mood and good music; come to listen and enjoy!
